Hi, I’m Maria! — though most people know me as Emme or Emmedelmar.

That name started as my instagram handle years ago, and over time it just stuck. Now, friends old and new call me “Emme”, and honestly, I love it. It feels like a part of me that’s completely my own.

I’m a photographer deeply passionate about capturing the beauty of life, love, and connection through my lens. Golden sunsets, tropical landscapes, and that soft, sparkly natural light, that’s where our magic happens.

I specialize in honest, soulful, and artfully imperfect portraits that celebrate self-love, real human connection, and my endless love for nature. Whether it’s a portrait session, a romantic couple’s session, a quiet elopement, or a micro wedding with your favorite people, I’m here to tell your story through honest, beautiful photos.

My mission is simple: to make you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Photography is my first love, I’m obsessed with my cats, my dog is the fluffiest thing ever,
I love surfing, I’m a book worm, traveling brings me so much joy and not to be cheesy but my husband is actually my best friend.

FAQs

  • I specialize in Portraits (Self-love), Maternity, Family + Baby, Couples (Engagements, Anniversaries), Elopements and Micro-Weddings. Each session is tailored to capture your unique personality and story.

  • If you're in Cozumel, I can suggest stunning local spots. (From turquoise beaches to natural rock formations). If you’re elsewhere or have a special place in mind, we can definitely scout out the perfect location together.

    I’m also available to travel for sessions! We’ll just need to plan it in advance and adjust the quote to include travel options. I love exploring new places and creating something beautiful wherever your story takes us!

  • It really depends on what kind of shoot you’re dreaming of! Portrait sessions usually last around 1 to 2 hours, while couple and engagement sessions can also range from 1 to 2 hours, depending on how much time you’d like to explore, change outfits, or move between spots.

    For elopements and micro-weddings, we’ll adjust to the hours you need for your special day — starting from 1.5 hours and up to 6 hours of coverage. We’ll talk through all the details together to make sure everything fits your vision perfectly.

    • Portraits: Starting at $250 USD (50% retainer to book)

    • Couples / Engagements: Starting at $350 USD (50% retainer)

    • For Elopements, Micro-Weddings or special session requests, just reach out, I’d love to hear what you’re imagining!

  • I ask for a 50% retainer to secure your date. The rest is due closer to (or on) the day of the session. We’ll go over all the details when you inquire, so everything’s clear and cozy, just like our session. :)

  • You’ll receive a beautifully edited high-resolution gallery where you can relive and share your moments. I take care in culling and editing to bring out the genuine, heartwarming energy in each shot.

  • All final images are delivered in a custom online gallery. Easy to view, download, and share with your loved ones.

  • Absolutely! Making you feel at ease is super important to me. I guide you gently, help with poses (but always leave space for real, spontaneous moments), and create a safe, warm space where your authentic self shines through.

  • Yes! If you’re not on Cozumel or have a destination in mind, let’s chat. I’m open to traveling (depending on the project), and I love exploring meaningful places with my camera. :)

    • Think about outfits that make you feel confident and “you.” (I’ll give you suggesions but it’s important that you feel most comfortable)

    • Bring props or meaningful items if you like (a favorite scarf, your partner’s guitar, baby’s little toy).

    • If we’re shooting outside, be ready for sun, breeze, and some soft light. Don’t stress, I’ve got you!

    • Most importantly: bring yourself and your story! That’s exactly what I want to capture.

  • My style is soft, soulful, and timeless. I love breathy light, real emotion, and moments that feel like memories you can reach into later. Your gallery will reflect your heart, not just what you looked like, but how it felt!
